Can I Purchase Original Artworks?

I bought an Original painting / drawing from you. Can you sell copies of my Original in the form of Art Prints?
Yes, I can! When you purchase an original artwork, you own the physical piece, but the rights to the image itself— like making prints or reproductions — remain with me as the artist. This means I can create and sell art prints or other reproductions of the piece. It’s a common practice in the art world and allows more people to enjoy the work while keeping your original unique and special.

What is an Art Print?
A Giclée Art Print is a high-quality reproduction of an original artwork. Known for its vibrant colors, sharp details, and long-lasting quality, Giclée prints are a popular choice for collectors because they closely match the look and feel of the original piece.
Are your prints ready to ship when I order them?
No. All Giclee Reproductions are created using a huge professional printer that uses very long-lasting inks. They are printed on high quality paper and are frequently mistaken for originals.
I ship them to you in 1-2 business days.
Can I order larger prints and / or other formats?
If you want a bigger print or a different format, please contact me via info@carlamorais.art or through the contact form.
Commissions
How long does it take for you to create a commissioned piece?
There is no specific amount of time, since each piece is unique in its making. But to try and answer the question, paintings have taken up to 1 week, and some graphite drawings I have completed in less than a day. Average work is around 2- 3 days, if the waiting list isn’t too long.
Orders
How is my art going to be shipped?
Originals and prints 30×40 cm (A3) and smaller are mailed in a sturdy flat mailer while larger works are mailed in a thick tube.
